Prof. Dr. In 1995, Müge Yüksel graduated from the Marmara University Atatürk Faculty of Education, Faculty of Psychological Counseling and Management. In 1998, she received her master’s degree, and in 2003, she received her Ph.D. degree at the Institute of Educational Sciences of Marmara University. Since 1995, she has been working at the Management and Psychological Consulting Department of Marmara University.
She worked on topics such as the development of diagnostic programs for intervention in school adaptation, behavior problems, learning problems, the organization of psychological consultation services in pre-school, including special education and rehabilitation centers, consultation with adolescents, psychological services in adulthood and old age, projective methods, intelligence tests, development and attention tests, family life skills, and marital harmony. Since 1997, she has been working in the field of psychological counseling by evaluating the psychological and cognitive processes of schoolchildren and young people. She has written four books on preschool psychological counseling services and served as an editor for various books.
She participated in various trainings within the country as well as abroad, such as rational emotional therapy (REBT), gestalt therapy, expressive therapies, transactional analysis, creative and educational drama, protective and preventive guidance, learning and behavioral problems, psychological consultations on adulthood and old age, counseling with adolescents, the ECO-C (European Communication Certificate), etc. Currently, she continues to work as a professor at Marmara University.
