Adrian Frank Furnham is a British psychologist of South African origin. Adrian has completed one bachelor’s degree, three master’s degrees, and three doctoral degrees. He studied at the University of Natal in 1995, at the University of London in 1991, at the University of Oxford in 1977–81, at the University of Strathclyde in 1976–77, at the University of London in 1975–76 (with an honors diploma), and at the University of Natal in 1970–74. He is a member of the British Psychological Society and the American Psychological Association.
He was recognized as the most productive psychologist in Europe and the world from the 1990s until today. He was ranked among the 200 best psychologists of all time. He has worked as a consultant, trainer, and speaker for over 50 companies in the UK and various public sectors (military, police, government) and other private sectors (banks, airlines, consortia). He is the author of 95 books translated into 40 languages. He is the author of more than 500 articles in famous international magazines and newspapers. Furnham is known for his extensive research in psychology.
He has researched topics such as applied, economic, health, occupational, social, and differential psychology. He has been a speaker at more than 1000 blogs and more than 300 international conferences. He is the author of 1480 scientific articles in international scientific journals. Furnham is a member of the British Psychological Society; in 2011, he was awarded the “British Psychological Society of Academic Contribution to Practice” award.
