Prof. Michele Moore graduated from Newcastle Upon Tyne University in England in 1983. In 1984, she continued her master’s studies at the “Institute of Education” in London. She completed her doctoral degree in 1993 at “Greenwich” University in London. She is one of the most recognized professors in psychology, education, and disability studies. Currently, she is the editor-in-chief of “Disability & Society” magazine, which contains leading studies on issues such as human rights and discrimination related to disability in the world.
She is the founding director of Inclusion Childhood and Education Ltd. (ICE), a research and consulting agency that provides expert advice on international disability issues, established in 2002. This educational company works to support governments and agencies that support people with disabilities, their families, and their representative organizations.
She has over 30 years of international experience as a leading international expert on disability, family, and childhood issues. Michele Moore is the author of more than 16 books as well as numerous scientific articles.
